Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) for the Department of Construction Management

Position Overview:
The Department of Construction Management is seeking Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) applicants.
The department reserves the right to choose the most qualified candidate for each position and to assign Instructional Student Assistant to the courses that are appropriate for the department program and curriculum in any given semester. Due to staff and curriculum changes, courses offered may vary, and no guarantee of employment from semester to semester can be made.
Anticipated Appointment Dates : This position is opened until filled. If you have applied and no other positions are available, you will be notified.
Fall 2025: August 18, 2025 - December 22, 2025
Spring 2026: January 15, 2026 - May 22, 2026
Hours : 0-20 hours per week.
Job Duties may include the following, but will be dependent upon the specific course to which the instructional student assistant will be assigned, as well as upon the specific needs of the faculty member in charge of the course:
Maintain/Submit students records/grades,
Evaluate student assignments
Canvas management
In-classroom assistance to instructor, but not to include direct instruction
Qualifications:
Minimum GPA 3.0
Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with faculty, staff and students from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic background,
Effective communication skills and time management skills
Demonstrated understanding of academic honor codes and code of conduct
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience working as an ISA
Prior knowledge of the subject area
