The Accounts Payable / Accounting Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, supporting project accounting, and assisting with day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Assist with lien waivers, compliance documents, and subcontractor payments Prepare weekly check runs and ACH payments Support project managers with job cost reporting and budget tracking Maintain organized records for audits and internal reporting Assist with general accounting tasks, such as data entry, bank reconciliations, and month-end close Qualifications: 2-4 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (construction industry preferred) Familiarity with AIA billing, lien waivers, and job cost accounting a plus Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team What We Offer: Competitive compensation Benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k) Paid time off and holidays A supportive team environment Opportunities for growth within the company
