Job Description

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Manage, mentor, and support a team of accounting professionals to promote growth and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.

Assist with audits, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting and finance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally from the construction or real estate industry
  • Experience managing a team
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
