With a strong reputation in the industry and a commitment to operational excellence, they’re now looking for an Accounting Manager who can bring leadership, systems thinking, and construction accounting expertise to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, job costing, general ledger, and month-end close.
  • Own the WIP (Work in Progress) schedule and support project managers with job costing, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Evaluate and improve current systems, workflows, and reporting processes.
  • Play a key role in ERP upgrades or transitions (if applicable).
  • Partner closely with leadership on strategic financial decisions and help prepare the business for scale.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in the construction or trades industry
  • Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, and GAAP accounting
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
