Job Summary:

Naranjo Civil Constructors is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the financial accuracy and success of our civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy collaborating with both internal teams and vendors to keep projects running smoothly. This role offers hybrid flexibility, with some in-office presence at our Denver location as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding balances or account issues.
• Support month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.
• Communicate with internal project teams and vendors to resolve billing and payment questions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date payable records.
• Perform other assigned duties to support accounting and project teams as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable (construction, engineering, or related industries strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with job costing and project accounting processes.
• Proficiency with Sage Paperless or similar systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• This position may be Denver-based (Tradecraft office), remote, or hybrid, depending on the candidate's location.
