Resumes are currently being accepted for an adjunct position in the Department of The Built Environment at the Princess Anne, Maryland campus. The position is available Spring Semester – January 24, . Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Chair of the Department of The Built Environment, the adjunct faculty will teach Construction Management Technology courses in construction practice, building systems, structures, cost estimation, and construction safety on the Main Campus in Princess Anne, Maryland. The courses are scheduled Monday – Friday, with morning, afternoon and/or evening time frames. Perform other related duties as assigned. Classification 25- Education, Training, and Library Occupations Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering or a closely related area with industry awarded certifications and/or experience. A Bachelor’s degree with significant industry experience in this specialized area will be considered. Preferred Qualifications Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Evidence of strong communication to include written communication, student focus, and excellent presentation skills,. Ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty and staff in the Department and University and with students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds Certifications/Registrations n/a
