As the Area Construction Manager for Central Texas, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering high-quality homes - on time, on budget, and with the highest level of customer satisfaction. You’ll play a key role in managing field operations, driving performance, and ensuring excellence across your assigned communities.
What You Will Do
- Directs, oversees, and manages superintendents’ assignments and workloads. Updates job log accordingly.
- Monitors and manages job quality, safety, cleanliness, timeliness, and job costs.
- Communicates cross-departmentally to achieve goals and responsibilities.
- Monitors Final Presentation of Product process.
- Monitors subcontractor and vendor performance, and assists superintendent in enforcing policies and specifications with those parties.
- Assists with reporting on current job status, duration history and superintendent loading.
- Five (5) to Six (6) years’ experience residential new home construction
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience
- A valid driver’s license and a vehicle capable of carrying supplies; willingness to travel between communities during both daytime and nighttime hours
