About the Role: The Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects that deliver outstanding results for clients, drive profitability, and foster lasting relationships. This position is primarily based on-site with occasional travel required within the project area. Current projects are available in Grand Junction, CO. If travel outside of Grand Junction is necessary, a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. Important Note: Various client site locations in Colorado require support, with occasional travel to the main office in Henderson, CO. Essential Functions: Support the Project Manager in various service management tasks. Proactively develop effective solutions to emerging issues. Thoroughly review bid specifications and drawings. Maintain ongoing communication with clients. Ensure project timelines are met effectively. Participate in networking events and travel to conferences and job sites as required. Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Coordinate closely with crews, superintendents, and other company departments. Ensure adherence to safety procedures and protocols. Prepare look-ahead documents and regular progress reports. Develop construction schedules using Microsoft Projects and/or Primavera. Prioritize regular and predictable attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned. This position may involve work at either company-designated office or field locations. Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and industry-specific standards. About You: Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience as an Estimator or Project Engineer in the electrical construction industry. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; relevant education and experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in MS Excel and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding analytical and organizational abilities. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. OSHA certifications are a plus. What We Offer: Salary Range: $70,000-$95,000 per year, commensurate with experience, paid weekly.
