FB Timberline is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Project Manager (Full-time, permanent) to support our growing portfolio of transmission line construction projects throughout Southeastern United States. This role is focused on hands-on, field-driven project delivery and requires full-time on-site presence at active construction sites, with frequent travel between project locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily project oversight, subcontractor coordination, and site activities
Track and document construction progress through field reports and schedules
Help manage on-site logistics, procurement tracking, and material deliveries
Consistently demonstrate and promote a safety-first mindset
Assist in conducting safety meetings and documenting safety compliance
Support QA/QC tracking, inspections, and reporting
Prepare and process RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation
Maintain accurate records of site activities, daily logs, and correspondence
Support scheduling updates and milestone tracking under senior PM guidance
Interface with crews, vendors, and client representatives
Maintain situational awareness of site challenges and contribute to issue resolution
Ensure implementation of project specifications and compliance requirements
Other tasks and duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of construction field experience is required (internship or co-op time will be considered)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required ; familiarity with Procore or scheduling software, an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, dependable, and safety-oriented
Meticulous attention to detail, documentation, and time management
Able and willing to travel as required and work extended/flexible hours if required to accommodate project/site hours of operation
Able and willing to provide a valid driver s license and provide an acceptable drivers abstract
