*Assistant Project Manager*

This role will assist the project management oversight for various underground electrical and underground telecommunication infrastructure projects.

Summary: Infinity Contractors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in the area of Charleston, SC, to manage the coordination of commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent. This position will report to Project Managers directly.

Skills/Knowledge:

· Document control of project documents, including specifications, plans, submittals, subcontracts, shop drawings, scheduling and any other project specific documents.

· Manage administrative procedures and maintain all records for the project.

· Coordination of subcontractors, including review of scope, submittals and schedules Punch-list and project close-out activities

· Evaluate subcontractor change proposals and prepare change orders with support from the Project Manager

· Maintain and complete pay applications with the support of the Project Manager

· Other Project Management duties as necessary

Qualifications: * 1-2+ years commercial construction experience desired * Familiarity with construction methods and materials * Strong mathematical skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Capacity to work well under pressure and enforce project schedules * Willingness to work full time on construction sites * Working with cross functional team members to achieve goals * Excellent computer skills a must Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

Education: * Preferred four (4) year degree in a construction-related curriculum or equivalent field * OSHA 10, OSHA 30 desired

Physical Demands / Working Conditions: * Reliable transportation to and from the project * Able to work in all elements of the outdoor environment which include the heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc. * Able to access all areas of the jobsite that includes stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc. * Capable of working in physical positions that may include kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
