Regionally recognized GC actively seeking an Assistant Superintendent.

Large, municipal project backlog across the Montgomery area.

They tackle large, luxury multifamily, as well as partner with Universities across the region to complete campus projects. They also handle a broad range of other commercial work as needed. Job Description

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

Perform risk management to minimize project risks

Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

The Successful Applicant

Proven experience with ground-up Commercial projects

3+ years of experience as a Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent is required

Ability to read and understand plans.

Ability to travel throughout Alabama long-term

Capable of problem solving and experience with complex detailed projects.

Ability to work with subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, city inspectors, organize and direct activities concerned with their construction projects.

Technical savvy individual - Procore is utilized onsite

Candidate should be able to operate independently while utilizing Senior Superintendent for support and guidance when needed
