About the role

We our currently seeking an Associate Project Manager to join the Data Center Project Management team! The purpose of this position is to lead individual, multi-disciplined, non-critical Data Center, related projects for the client, with direct accountability for project delivery. This role also requires managing multiple projects at a time, while supporting the Project Managers on more critical projects. This role will also aid the Senior Project Managers in annual Capital Planning with the Client and Key Stakeholders to generate future projects. The role will also coordinate with the Project Coordinator to ensure accurate project invoicing and building access is granted to contractors working on their projects.

The position is a Hybrid position with a minimum of Three(3) days onsite, and Two(2) days remote. This is located in Richardson, TX.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.

Prior Project Management preferred. Prior Construction or MEP experience preferred. Certification from a trade school preferably electrical, plumbing, or HVAC will be considered.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred. PMP is typically a Project Manager certification so would it be better to prefer the CAPM certification? LEED AP certification is not relevant to this job either so can we remove that?

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Working understanding in MS Project is helpful. Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred.
