CDL Driver - Water Truck (Heavy Civil Construction)

What You'll Do
* Safely operate a water truck to transport and distribute water at construction sites. * Use auxiliary pump systems to compact soil and control dust. * Insert pipe in refilled trenches and support excavation backfilling. * Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment. * Monitor and maintain truck supplies such as oil, gas, tires, brakes, and lights. * Ensure compliance with all DOT, federal, and state safety regulations. * Maintain accurate daily logs and submit timely reports. * Immediately report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment concerns. * Wear required PPE and follow company safety protocols at all times. * Actively participate in safety meetings and ongoing training.
What We're Looking For
* Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement. * Current DOT Medical Certificate and Medical Examiner's Report. * Clean driving record: * No DUIs in the last 5 years * No more than 2 moving violations * No more than 1 accident in the past 3 years * Minimum 2 years of experience operating a comparable vehicle. * Strong understanding of federal and state driving and safety regulations. * Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English. * Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures. * Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. * Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
