Position Description
What You'll Do
Safely operate a water truck to transport and distribute water at construction sites. Use auxiliary pump systems to compact soil and control dust. Insert pipe in refilled trenches and support excavation backfilling. Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment. Monitor and maintain truck supplies such as oil, gas, tires, brakes, and lights. Ensure compliance with all DOT, federal, and state safety regulations. Maintain accurate daily logs and submit timely reports. Immediately report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment concerns. Wear required PPE and follow company safety protocols at all times. Actively participate in safety meetings and ongoing training. Position Requirements
What We're Looking For Valid Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement. Current DOT Medical Certificate and Medical Examiner's Report. Clean driving record: No DUIs in the last 5 years No more than 2 moving violations No more than 1 accident in the past 3 years Minimum 2 years of experience operating a comparable vehicle. Strong understanding of federal and state driving and safety regulations. Ability to read, write, and communicate in basic English. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
