Civil Construction Project Manager with CCR Experience

Overview: The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of Civil and Construction projects. This includes managing change orders, submittals, procurement, financial setups, and project schedules to ensure timely, safe, and profitable completion of projects. We are looking for a candidate with expertise in Heavy Civil Construction or CCR (Coal Combustion Residuals) on civil construction sites. Position Details: This position will involve travel to various worksites throughout the assigned project area, averaging 50% travel. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided, along with per diem to cover travel expenses such as meals and lodging. Key Responsibilities: Maintain a strong focus on meeting client needs and expectations throughout all project phases. Plan, organize, and staff key field positions in collaboration with organizational leadership. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines. Facilitate construction activities by establishing communication with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Monitor construction progress to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, taking corrective actions as needed. Represent the company in meetings, aiding in labor negotiations and strategic planning. Manage financial aspects of contracts, ensuring the company's interests while fostering strong relationships. Coordinate project activities, including resolving issues to adhere to company policies and standards. Prepare and disseminate essential documentation such as status reports, punch lists, and material calculations. Ensure compliance with safety protocols as guided by the Corporate Safety Manager. Perform additional tasks as requested by the Division Manager. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction estimating/scheduling software. Strong understanding of civil engineering design and construction methodologies. Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking capabilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Able to read and interpret blueprints, safety guidelines, and operation manuals. Able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
