About the Role A highly respected, long-established general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial and institutional projects is seeking a talented Superintendent to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to lead field operations, drive project performance, and build positive relationships with project teams and clients. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to high-quality standards Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress with the project management team Enforce safety policies and promote a culture of safety on site Lead site meetings and maintain consistent communication with clients, design teams, and internal staff Prepare daily reports, manage field documentation, and process site changes Foster a collaborative and team-focused jobsite environment Qualifications: 3+ years of superintendent or assistant superintendent experience, ideally on commercial or institutional construction projects Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, and site coordination Effective leadership and communication skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach Familiarity with safety requirements and industry best practices Proficiency with construction management software is a plus OSHA 10-hour certification preferred Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to projects within Connecticut Why Consider This Opportunity?
