A commissioning representative shall validate that new equipment and systems are installed, tested, and working properly. A commissioning representative needs to have a thorough technical understanding of the equipment and systems. Validation Duties: •Review the technical documentation of client systems and machinery to understand their functions •Collaborate with construction companies / GCs to ensure safety and quality regulations are being met •Technical support & system installation verification on-site •Visit remote vendor sites to monitor the testing of equipment •Monitor equipment checks and system tests in the field to ensure correct operation •Review test results and reports to confirm compliance with technical specifications Experience: •5+ years experience in industrial construction, operations, and commissioning •Knowledge of construction quality process, means, methods, and installation procedures •Familiarity with sequence of operations, controls, and system integration •Knowledge or ability to research codes, specs, and standards, and interpret requirements against installed product •Strong computer skills and familiarity with industry standard software •Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
