A commissioning representative shall validate that new equipment and systems are installed, tested, and working properly.  A commissioning representative needs to have a thorough technical understanding of the equipment and systems.

Validation Duties: ·         Review the technical documentation of client systems and machinery to understand their functions ·         Collaborate with construction companies / GCs to ensure safety and quality regulations are being met ·         Technical support & system installation verification on-site ·         Visit remote vendor sites to monitor the testing of equipment ·         Monitor equipment checks and system tests in the field to ensure correct operation ·         Review test results and reports to confirm compliance with technical specifications

Experience: ·       5+ years experience in industrial construction, operations, and commissioning ·         Knowledge of construction quality process, means, methods, and installation procedures ·         Familiarity with sequence of operations, controls, and system integration ·         Knowledge or ability to research codes, specs, and standards, and interpret requirements against installed product ·       Strong computer skills and familiarity with industry standard software ·       Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
