Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Formaker to support our projects across the Phoenix metro area. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, aligning, and securing formwork, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring safe, high-quality concrete pours.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, construction documents, and engineering plans to guide precise formwork.
Measure, cut, assemble, and secure formwork using wood, metal, or composite materials.
Align and adjust formwork to meet level, elevation, and alignment specifications.
Incorporate reinforcement (rebar, mesh, etc.) within formwork per structural requirements.
Coordinate with laborers, foremen, and concrete crews to ensure streamlined operations.
Dismantle and clean formwork post-concrete cure; maintain tools and materials.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free jobsite.
Qualifications
Proven experience in formwork carpentry or concrete forming (commercial/industrial preferred).
Proficient in reading blueprints and construction plans.
Skilled with hand tools and power equipment.
Experience in substations, or heavy utility infrastructure is highly preferred.
Experience in sidewalk and curb work preferred.
Physical stamina with commitment to safety standards (PPE, training, toolbox talks).
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
(Preferred) OSHA 10/30 certification, journeyman card, or relevant trade certifications.
