LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Construction Accountant job for the corporate office in Roseville, CA. The job is 100% in-office. The position will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and success for the construction projects. Your expertise in accounting, being able to prepare financial statements, work with multiple entities, and construction project management will be invaluable in helping the organization achieve our goals.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with project managers and teams to track project budgets, expenses, and revenue. Monitor project costs, ensuring they align with approved budgets and industry standards. Prepare accurate and timely project financial reports for management review. Manage accounts payable and receivable specific to construction projects. Conduct regular reconciliations of project financial data and resolve discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of project forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies in all project-related transactions. Assist in the preparation of contract documentation and change orders. Participate in project review meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required Familiarity with relevant accounting standards (, GAAP) and regulations. Strong understanding of construction project accounting principles and practices. Proficiency with a medium to large ERP accounting software and Microsoft Office suite. Highly proficient in Excel Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Exceptional communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

Experience: 4 years of experience as an Accountant (Construction Accountant, Project Accountant Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant)
