Construction Accounting Manager

Compensation: $110k-$125k annually and M/D/V benefits
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accounting Manager to join our team in Merchantville, NJ. This position plays a key role in overseeing core accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. You'll work closely with the Controller and FP&A team to support strategic financial initiatives and maintain operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Take full responsibility for the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with audit preparation and help drive financial clean-up and process improvements.
- Partner with the FP&A team to align reporting with forecasting and budgeting efforts.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal accounting procedures.
- Solid background in accounting or finance, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
- Advanced Excel proficiency-you're comfortable with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
- Experience with NetSuite is required; familiarity with database administration or system implementation is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
