SUMMARY
Partner is seeking a Full-Time Assessor for our construction services team to perform all Construction Assessor responsibilities including planning, executing, reviewing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS Involvement in multiple projects concurrently
Oversee the quality of Partner's deliverables throughout the project's life cycle
Coordinating the efforts of Partner team members, and at times Partner Associates (PAs) in order to deliver projects according to plan
Cultivate strong relationships with the Partner team members, Client, and other project stakeholders in order to successfully deliver a quality product on time
Conduct inspections
Write reports RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure quality of services and reports
Effectively communicate project expectations (i.e. Client-specific SOW, templates) to team members and assessors in a timely and clear fashion throughout the course of the project
Provide solid recommendations and solutions to Partner team members (RM, TD, PM, etc.) and Clients, while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process
Identify and resolve issues with projects
Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or e-mail)
Communicate and coordinate follow-up questions during the review process KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
Ability to work on projects concurrently
Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time
Exceptional writing skills
Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
Comprehensive understanding of design processes/concepts, construction elements (contracts, cost, admin, scheduling, change orders) and funding/payment processes
Proficient in report authorship and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) or reports QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree or greater from accredited university in architecture, and or engineering discipline a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone and via emails
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
Must be able to visit a construction job site and maneuver around and through construction activities COMPENSATION
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000-$105,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
