Construction Assistant Project Manager A progressive, commercial general contractor is looking for an Assistant Project Manager (APM). The company focuses on complex and technical big box retail projects. We are a well-established general contractor based in Murrieta, CA, specializing in large-scale commercial building and construction, with a strong focus on big box retail projects across Southern California and beyond. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Construction Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our growing portfolio and help lead high-profile commercial builds from pre-construction through closeout. Job Description Assist in managing all phases of big box retail construction projects Support project scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders Maintain project documentation and logs Attend site meetings and assist with progress tracking and reporting Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and field personnel Support project closeout and punch list management MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
