Construction Assistant Project Manager Location: On-Site – Fort Lauderdale Courthouse About the Role: KEITH is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of construction projects at the Fort Lauderdale Courthouse . This role will work on-site, collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project coordination, scheduling, and compliance with contract requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager in overseeing construction activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams to maintain workflow and resolve any issues. Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation. Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Support procurement efforts, including material tracking and inventory management. Conduct site walks and inspections to verify work quality and adherence to contract requirements. Assist in handling RFIs, change orders, and coordination with inspectors and courthouse representatives. Facilitate communication between field teams and project stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills: Construction project management or field experience. Experience working on commercial or government projects is . Knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and documentation. Strong understanding of job site logistics, permitting, and subcontractor coordination. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and contract compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Procore or other construction management software is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills.
