Construction Civil Inspector

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Inspector to join our team and support the construction of critical infrastructure projects in the NYC Metro area. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring project success by observing and reporting on construction activities, coordinating effectively with project team members, and providing thorough documentation and inspection services for various infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specs and work plans
• Conduct on-site observation, monitoring, inspection and evaluation of construction
• Observe contractor performance
• Prepare daily reports, verify material quantities, time and material records
• Maintain project redline
• Coordinate with CM project teams and other teams
• Assist with project start-up

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of construction/construction observation experience
• Familiar with civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering
• Willing to travel throughout NYC metro area
• Experience with in water/wastewater or complex project experience preferred
• BS or Associates degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology and Building preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $174000.00/yr. Competitive benefits package, health, medical, dental, 401k
