The role requires delivering excellent service to meet client objectives and identifying opportunities to add value, ensuring successful project outcomes.Essential FunctionsIdentify key target clients and contacts for inclusion in the business plan.Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure high standards of technical service, secure repeat business, and develop profitable workload.Follow up on opportunities with existing clients and contacts in coordination with leadership.Cross-sell other Rider Levett Bucknall services to existing clients.Contribute to monthly team meetings and business development activities.Share marketing information across regions within the company.Prepare proposals and fee submissions.Deliver presentations effectively.Maintain individual project profiles.Attend external functions to enhance the company's profile and generate new contacts.Oversee all aspects of project delivery from feasibility to handover and maintenance.Collaborate and communicate effectively to contribute to team performance.Understand client project outcomes and identify opportunities to add value.Perform additional duties as assigned to support team efforts.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, commitment to customer service excellence, and a focus on achieving good commercial results.Minimum Education: 4-year college degree in quantity surveying, construction management, architecture, or engineering science.Minimum Experience: 5-10 years of relevant management experience, including managing staff, major projects, developing project scopes, goals, work plans, and assessment methods. Prior contract development and monitoring experience is required.Skills Required: Expertise in quantity surveying, cost management, or project management, with strong communication skills.Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsIndoor office environment, with site visits as needed.Use of computers and standard office equipment.Physical ability to work on a computer, answer phones, and occasionally use a ladder.RLB is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
