Construction Coordinator Role and Responsibilities The Construction Coordinator for Baldwin General Contracting, Inc works under the supervision of a Project Manager for training and development. As a Construction Coordinator this person contributes to the team by being directly involved in the activities involved in executing our building projects including but not limited to making phone calls and sending emails to subcontractors, managing spreadsheets, preparing bid documents, and updating database files as needed. Ongoing training will be provided for the position. Essential Construction Coordinator Job Functions · Subcontractor Calls & Emails · Attending bid walks or bid drop off · Printing plans and estimating documents · Updating and maintaining our contact management system · Will be trained in plan review · More duties and responsibilities will be assigned as skill level is identified Qualifications The successful candidate for this position must be a good communicator who likes interacting with new people. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, with preference for additional education or certification. Working knowledge of basic office procedures and common office equipment. Must enjoy keeping and working from lists. Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to manage time well and work independently or collaboratively. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Equipment Used Multi line phone system, desk top computer, printer/scanner/copier, conference room equipment. Essential Job Requirements: Employees must be able to function well about the following: Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, ability to use a computer for extended periods of times, ability to lift, carry and transport up to 25 pounds, ability to provide own transportation as deemed necessary.
