Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and driven Construction Manager with institutional-grade experience and a comprehensive understanding of all phases of construction and real estate development. The ideal candidate will be execution-focused, analytically sharp, and an effective communicator and team leader.
Key Responsibilities
Construction
Oversee day-to-day construction activities from pre-construction through closeout.
Collaborate closely with internal development, design, and finance teams to ensure aligned project execution.
Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Manage all aspects of permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance—particularly within Florida jurisdictions.
Maintain and track construction budgets, schedules, change orders, and risk mitigation strategies.
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Enforce high standards for quality control, safety, and job site cleanliness.
Identify and resolve design or field issues in real time.
Serve as the owner’s representative in field meetings, municipal reviews, and construction progress reporting.
Development
Coordinate Due Diligence in new land acquisitions.
Origination and Pipeline management.
Qualifications
5–10 years of construction management experience, ideally in institutional-grade or high-end residential/mixed-use development.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Deep understanding of zoning, entitlements, permitting, and building codes in Florida.
Strong technical knowledge, project management and proven ability to lead complex builds from start to finish.
Proficiency in Procore, AutoDesk, Bluebeam, and Excel.
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and strategic under pressure.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred but not required.
