Construction Electrical Estimator - The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role is essential in analyzing project specifications, conducting accurate cost estimations, and preparing competitive bids. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and must be proficient in McCormick estimating software . You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to help ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Construction Electrical Estimator - Responsibilities Analyze project documents and specifications to determine the scope of work Research material, labor, and subcontractor costs to develop accurate estimates Create detailed estimates, including takeoffs, labor, material, and equipment Interpret and review blueprints, drawings, and related technical documents Work with project managers and preconstruction teams to gather needed data Prepare and submit complete and timely bid proposals Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market pricing, and construction methods Evaluate risks and assumptions to ensure realistic and competitive proposals Participate in hand-off meetings to support project execution Construction Electrical Estimator - Qualifications Proven experience as an estimator in the construction or electrical industry Strong proficiency in McCormick estimating software is REQUIRED Excellent analytical and mathematical skills Strong familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications Understanding of electrical construction materials and methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Construction Electrical Estimator - Exceptional Candidates Are McCormick software pros and confident leading estimation strategy Have 3+ years of experience in a similar estimating role Bring fresh ideas and problem-solving skills to preconstruction planning Work with urgency and follow through on every task Construction Electrical Estimator - Character Qualities We Value: Positive Attitude Coachable Spirit Strong Work Ethic Passion for Serving Others and Team Collaboration Construction Electrical Estimator - What We Value Excellence - We strive for it in everything we do Growth - Personally, professionally, and spiritually Others - Doing unto others as we would have them do to us Construction Electrical Estimator - Compensation & Benefits Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year Full Benefits Package Including: 401(k) with 4% match Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays
