You Are: A Construction Engineer who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven. We are looking to add exceptional and experienced employees to our Construction Services Department.
You Will: Accurately interpret design plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates Perform construction inspection as assigned Measure, calculate, and record construction quantities for payment Maintain project records and documentation Oversee quality assurance and successful completion of projects by following set timelines Monitor and record job progress details to ensure that all assigned work to contractors is performed in a timely manner Inspect and assess the quality of materials being used for construction projects Calculation of quantities of material, supplies and equipment needed for projects Assist to identify construction constraints and plan and carry out measures to counter them Perform other duties as required by Resident Engineer or Department Manager You Have: B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or related fields 3-7 years’ experience in construction engineering/inspection industry Valid Driver's License Computer skills and knowledge in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Schedule and other related Windows-based software is preferred Good oral and written communication skills Ability to write reports, cost estimates, and scheduling and quantity take offs
