Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with project teams to coordinate and create takeoffs for various types of construction projects Review project documents, plans, and specifications to identify material and labor requirements Utilize takeoff software to determine quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for a project Prepare accurate estimates for site work and utility projects Assist in the preparation of estimates and bids for projects Provide technical support to project teams when needed Requirements: Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret data Ability to interpret contractual requirements Strong interpersonal communication skills Desired Training and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred) Prior experience with a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced knowledge of Excel is a MUST!) Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues Creative thinking to automate processes and increase efficiencies

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
