The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications, prepare accurate cost estimates, and support project management efforts. This role is critical in ensuring that our projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

*Responsibilities*

* Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects. * Utilize HeavyBid software for accurate pricing and cost control throughout the estimating process. * Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information regarding project scope and requirements. * Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for more precise estimates. * Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing. * Prepare detailed reports summarizing estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses. * Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures during the construction phase. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices in construction estimating.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field. * Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices. * Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam. * Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost analysis. * Ability to negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers. * Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders including project managers, clients, and subcontractors. * Familiarity with project management processes is an advantage. * A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required. * We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about contributing to successful construction projects to apply for this exciting opportunity.
