We're seeking a Construction Field Operations Coordinator to support and manage the operational side of our construction projects. In this critical role, you'll serve as the hub for field staffing, contract staffing reviews, and change order processing - ensuring our teams are aligned, supported, and ready to deliver.
Key Responsibilities:
Staffing & Dispatching : Manage the daily scheduling and assignment of field personnel to active construction sites, ensuring appropriate coverage based on project needs.
Field Team Support : Serve as a point of contact for foremen, superintendents, and field staff regarding scheduling, personnel challenges, and manpower needs.
Contract Review : Collaborate with project managers and leadership to review contracts and determine required staffing levels and timelines.
Change Order Processing : Support the operations team in reviewing, tracking, and processing change orders related to manpower adjustments.
Performance Oversight : Monitor field staff attendance, productivity, and job performance metrics. Assist with coaching and redirection as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Project Management to maintain a reliable workforce pipeline and meet project goals.
Safety & Compliance : Promote adherence to safety policies and project compliance standards across all active crews.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) .
3+ years of experience in construction, dispatch coordination, field operations, or workforce management.
Strong understanding of construction staffing and field labor logistics.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, or project tracking software.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
Ability to read basic construction documentation (drawings, staffing scopes, etc.) is a plus.
