Construction Foundation Sales Representative

This role requires a strong understanding of the construction industry, the ability to identify business opportunities, and the drive to establish long-term relationships with customers. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Additionally, you will develop the skills to run equipment to properly train customers on their purchases. The role will have support from the existing sales team that can provide company-specific product knowledge, but this person will be the champion of this product line.
Job Responsibilities As the pioneer of this role, you will…
Build customer relationships
Proactively seek and develop relationships with potential customers by drawing on existing connections within the industry
Plan your time to adequately seek out customers and plan customer visits
Develop in-depth knowledge of Geoprobe® construction products to better serve customer needs
Conduct machine demonstrations, product presentations, and training sessions for customers
Take the time to listen to customers and suggest solutions that best meet their needs
Complete sales
Manage all steps of the sales process from initial contact to machine delivery and training
Learn how to develop and communicate product stories
Provide customers with quotes
Negotiate the terms of the agreement and closing sales
Travel
Travel is 20-40% of this role – commonly 8 days per month are spent traveling to customers
You will help transport equipment and tools to demonstration sites
Machine training is often conducted at the customer’s location

Are familiar with equipment applications
Enjoy bringing new product ideas back to the engineering team for discussion and consideration
Requirements
Sales or project management experience
Able to work alone and as a member of the team
Strong computer literacy
Class A CDL a bonus
Able to lift 50+ pounds
