Job Description
As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for providing various inspections on construction sites. Your role will involve testing soils, concrete, asphalt, and reinforcing steel. You will utilize a nuclear gauge for testing and use a tablet for documentation. The role requires carrying buckets for testing purposes. Responsibilities

Proficiency in construction inspection. Ability to perform concrete and construction materials testing. Good verbal communication skills. Willingness to learn. Comfortable working outdoors. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Map reading and math skills are a plus. ACI certification is preferred. Experience with nuclear gauge equipment. NICET certification is advantageous. Work Environment
You will be working at various construction sites, providing testing for construction materials. The standard workweek is 40 hours with potential night shifts. As the weather gets warmer, there will be opportunities for overtime. Regular working hours are from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. The dress code includes work boots, jeans, and a button-up shirt. The role involves very independent work, with daily travel to different sites. Individuals can pick up Nuclear Gauge equipment from a site before their shift if they do not have their own. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
