Job Title: Construction Inspector
Job Description
This is an on-call position focused on water line projects, including replacements and new installations for housing developments. Projects are planned in collaboration with the city, with upcoming assignments anticipated for 5-6 weeks in Medina starting in August, followed by another 6-week project in September/October. Additional projects will be communicated as they are confirmed. Responsibilities
Create daily logs for construction progress and inspections. Utilize online software for workload management. Coordinate and collaborate with city engineers, planners, and general contractors. Read and interpret engineering documents accurately. Essential Skills
Experience in construction inspection and waterline inspection. Knowledge of pumping stations, water treatment, and wastewater management. Fieldwork experience in water resources and wastewater projects. At least 1 year of overseeing waterline replacements or pump stations. Valid driver's license. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in water resources or wastewater inspection is a plus. Work Environment
This role involves working on behalf of a City, focusing on new housing developments and roadway water lines. The position offers a flexible schedule and requires the ability to work in various field conditions. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
