This role involves meticulous observation of the progress and quality of construction, making this position crucial for the successful enhancement of urban infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a profound understanding of construction processes. Conduct regular on-site inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with building codes, contract specifications, and other regulations. Document findings from inspections, including progress, concerns, and violations. Verify the quality of materials and workmanship. Monitor safety procedures and report potential hazards to construction management. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other construction site personnel to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and compile data for analysis and legal proceedings. Review and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications. Advise construction managers on compliance with legal, environmental, and health requirements. Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
