The Role
We are looking for a motivated Journeyman that is looking to join our team and advance their career within the petroleum industry.
This position will be assigned to a crew as a Journeyman to assist the Foreman/crew with completing petroleum related construction projects. This position requires the candidate to already have construction experience preferably within the petroleum industry that compliments the services we provide.
Job Description
- Establishes and maintains a clean and safe work environment according to all
- applicable regulations.
- Follow standard industry procedures and manufactures recommendations.
- Perform random tasks associated with projects
- Clear communication
- Ability to travel out of state and stay overnight from time to time.
- Routinely lifting in excess of 45Ib’s and up to 80Ib’s from time to time.
Specific Job Description
- Assist the Foreman in preparing for as well as closing out projects.
- Installation of specialty fiberglass piping systems
- Installation of fueling dispensers and systems.
- Demo and removal of concrete/asphalt
- Hand digging.
- Operating excavation equipment.
- Work with threaded steel pipe, flex piping and fiberglass piping
- Clean up during and after jobs.
- Learn as much as possible and advance your skills.
The following is a plus
- Heavy equipment operating experience
- Computers, Excel, Word etc.
- Concrete experience
- Electrical experience
- Mechanical experience
Requirements
- Be able to work on Federal Facilities
- Have a clean driving record
- Work in diverse environments such as confined space, trenches, heights, etc.
- Working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Occasional overnight travel as well as extended work shifts.
- Must be able to wear a face mask
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
