Job Description
We are currently seeking entry-level construction laborers with at least one year of experience in the field. This position is based in York, PA and is part of a company that specializes in the construction testing industry. The role involves operating testing equipment, conducting tests on various structures such as windows and building facades, and providing detailed assessments through reporting.
Responsibilities
- Operate testing equipment and conduct tests on windows and building facades, providing data assessments through detailed reporting.
- Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams to perform tasks effectively.
- Make detailed observations of site activities using specific methods and provide limited interpretation of results.
- Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
- Participate in field testing projects and building envelope testing as assigned.
- Communicate with clients and project teams regarding site observations, test preparations, procedures, results, and reporting matters.
- Prepare and submit accurate and concise reports on all assigned projects.
- Coordinate projects including planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure consistent and professional interaction and communication with clients and project teams.
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
- Possession of a Real ID or passport for work on Government properties.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Capability to travel up to 100% of the time to various job sites.
- Proficiency in receiving detailed information through oral and written communication.
- Physical ability to kneel, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Capacity to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot, cold, and wet temperatures.
- Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights.
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $66560.00/yr.
o401k match after the 1st year
o80-20 insurance. Capital Blue package.
oPTO - 0-3 years is two weeks, 3-6 year tenure is 3 weeks and then - 10+ years is 5 weeks
oNine paid holidays.
oShort term and long term disability.
