We are a San Francisco-based general contractor seeking a reliable full-time laborer to support construction projects in and around San Francisco. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for those looking to learn about construction and develop skills for career advancement. As a small but growing subsidiary of a construction company with over 20 years of experience in luxury home building in the Bay Area, we have a pipeline of architect-designed projects. We are looking for a versatile and hardworking carpenter who can adapt to various project needs both as part of a team and independently. Responsibilities include: Assist carpenters in maintaining a clean and organized jobsite by sweeping, vacuuming, and organizing materials. Support with moving materials and assisting with installations under the guidance of carpenters and the foreman. Help with painting and finishing preparations. Pick up materials from lumberyards, hardware stores, etc., as needed. Assist with basic demolition tasks. Ideal candidate qualities: Physical strength and fitness to perform manual labor. Strong work ethic with eagerness to learn and grow in construction skills. Attention to detail and neatness. Reliable transportation, preferably a truck, for material pickups. Basic construction tools such as a hammer, tape measure, and tool belt. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Construction experience is a plus but not required.
