Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per year

Our client is a full-service business law firm with 10 locations in major metros and over 400 attorneys. We cover a wide range of corporate litigation matters for our clients, including product liability litigation, securities litigation, real estate, white -collar defense, immigration, privacy and cybersecurity, labor and employment, tax, restructuring, blockchain, AI, and many other business litigation matters.
This role is for a 3-6 year Construction Litigation Associate to sit in their Cincinnati, Columbus, or Cleveland offices . You should have experince with construction defect, delays, breach of contract claims, and design negligence.

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven Permanent Construction Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dispute resolution, with a focus on construction litigation. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the legal industry, specifically in construction litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of complex construction litigation matters and will play a crucial role in shaping our firm's approach to construction law.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Construction Litigation Associate, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a variety of construction litigation matters including contract disputes, construction defects, delay claims, and payment disputes.
2. Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies to resolve disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and related documents.
4. Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on construction law matters.
5. Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
6. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on various construction law issues.
7. Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the best representation for our clients.
8. Keeping up to date with changes in construction law and informing clients of any changes that may affect their business.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Construction Litigation Associate position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction litigation.
3. Proficient in dispute resolution with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
4. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Admitted to practice law in the state or willing to obtain admission.
10. A strong understanding of construction law and the construction industry.
