Job Description Provide decisive direction in regard to business, technical and project management involving multidisciplinary and diverse functional activities.
Responsible for overall management, in terms of technical quality, cost and schedule. They shall maintain daily progress reports and inspection reports and shall lead the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.
Monitor and review budgetary cost accounting; administration of construction contract change orders; maintaining spread sheets indicating project funds allowances, obligations, payments, balances, planned expenditures, etc., assist in the documentation of the administration of construction contract change orders (preparing cost estimates, reviewing cost proposal, preparing change order packages for the CO).
Prepare and maintain daily diaries for project activities noting events affecting construction. Maintain a current project schedule and compare project progress against Contractor (CM) schedule and General Contractor's schedule. Contractor (CM) shall address all schedule slippages to the COR and make recommendations for adjustments in the project.
Conduct or attend weekly or bi-weekly project meetings to review and monitor projects and project schedules review of EHRM Project construction Contractor payment requirements.
Keep thorough records of occurrences, contracts, task orders, modifications, and other EHRM Project construction related matters in order to assist in conflict resolution.
Perform scheduling, conduct and document regular progress meetings with all interested parties to review project status, discuss problems, and resolve issues accordingly.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Manager (Healthcare) will have: Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management, or 15 years of experience in the related role
Seven (7) years of experience in management of facility construction projects including supervision of engineering, design and construction, schedule control, cost management and program budgeting, and overall project management activities.
Experience shall include the ability to read and interpret construction documents, as well as communicate effectively with project construction team members.
Experience on healthcare projects/facilities.
