Construction Manager, Owners Rep opportunity in the Marietta, GA area to oversee multiple commercial retail projects for various site locations. This is an in-house hybrid remote position that requires a proactive and organized individual to manage all phases of construction, from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will be someone with in-house construction management experience who can ""coach"" and ""be a team player,"" ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to all quality, brand, and safety standards.

responsibilities:
- Manage several simultaneous commercial / retail type construction projects in-house, including new builds, relocations, and remodels, from the initial site identification and due diligence phase through to completion and handover.
- Establish project budgets, coordinate the bidding process, negotiate and award contracts, and manage all project-related payments and financial closeout procedures.
- Coordinate and interface with architects, engineers, contractors, landlords, and city officials to ensure all projects are properly permitted and constructed according to plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Provide timely and accurate communication on project status to all stakeholders, while identifying and mitigating recurring construction issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commercial Construction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with at least 5 years of relevant in-house construction experience.
- Heavy commercial retail construction experience with knowledge of multiple trades is required; in-house construction management experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a thorough understanding of commercial ground-up and retrofit construction processes from start to finish.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to read and comprehend construction drawings.
