Job Overview Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our Data Center Engineering & Construction Team. This role involves managing data center construction projects, ensuring high uptime, capacity, and efficiency, from chip to chiller configurations.
Responsibilities Manage construction, commissioning, and turnover of data center projects within a campus program.
Oversee project budgets, negotiate costs, and manage change processes.
Ensure schedules are maintained, risks managed, and projects delivered reliably.
Coordinate warranty and tenant improvement work in live environments.
Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders.
Mitigate project risks through pre-planning and partnerships.
Develop cost-saving solutions and early project savings identification.
Collaborate with general contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Support pre-construction efforts and promote prefabrication strategies.
Assist in developing capital budgets and ROMs.
Support campus-wide construction management and site inspections.
Ensure safety and promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
Travel up to 10% to headquarters and respond to emergencies as needed.
Minimum Qualifications 7+ years in construction management.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, industry standards, building codes, and safety standards.
Experience in capital budget management, negotiation, and problem-solving.
Proficiency with Primavera P6, Google Workspace, and Bluebeam.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience with Procore, BIM 360, MS Visio, SharePoint, LEAN Construction, and building environment certifications (LEED, SITES, TRUE, WELL).
Experience in mission-critical, data center, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Additional Information Base pay range: $122,000 - $169,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. This role involves full-time employment, management and manufacturing functions, and industry in technology, internet, and information sectors. Some travel required.
