Adecco is hiring a Mid-Level Construction Manager to lead Transmission & Substation projects in Terrace, IL .
About the Role
As a Construction Manager, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex electrical transmission and substation projects. You'll be the driving force behind project success-ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Provide daily oversight of construction crews and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
Collaborate with ComEd internal work groups and external partners to meet project goals.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is a plus).
10+ years of experience in Transmission/Substation or electric utility construction.
Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Skills & Tools
Strong project management skills: planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, SAP, ERP systems, and electrical design software.
Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
Location
Terrace, IL - On-site role with field-based responsibilities.

Pay Details: $68.00 per hour
