Lloyd Staffing is working on behalf of a confidential client to fill a key Site Resident Observer / Construction Manager role for a major Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) biogas construction project. This is a two-year, full-time onsite opportunity to represent the engineering team throughout the construction lifecycle of a large-scale energy project.
Role Overview: As the on-site engineering liaison, you will oversee project execution, maintain quality control, coordinate inspections, and ensure adherence to engineering design and specifications. You’ll work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal engineering staff to drive project success.
Responsibilities: Act as the lead on-site engineering representative throughout the entire project. Attend site meetings and track project schedules with two-week look-aheads. Issue weekly construction reports and manage the deficiency log. Oversee field inspections, testing, and commissioning activities (mechanical/electrical). Manage submittals, RFIs, and quality control documentation. Participate in system startups with the extended project team. Ensure compliance with design documents and installation standards.
Job Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. 10+ years of construction management experience, preferably on RNG, wastewater treatment, or complex industrial projects. Working knowledge across mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural disciplines. Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and process piping is a plus. Strong communication and documentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to work collaboratively with engineers, owners, and contractors. Willing and able to be full-time onsite for the project duration.
