Construction Manager

This is a Full-Time Salary exempt position Pay range is $68,640-$76,960 per year based on experience Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction and renovation projects within the community, including managing capital and operational improvements from initial planning through completion. This includes supervising outside contractors, coordinating remodels with internal departments such as Marketing, and ensuring all work meets project specifications, safety standards, and budget requirements. The position also leads the Housekeeping department and manages unit renovations by prioritizing contractor schedules, providing direction, and monitoring progress. Additional responsibilities include supply and inventory management, ensuring the availability of necessary materials, tools, equipment, and permits. The individual ensures full compliance with regulatory standards including OSHA, OSHPD, and Fire Marshal regulations, and maintains accurate procedure manuals and documentation. In the event of an emergency, this role may assume a leadership position as outlined in the community Disaster Plan, utilizing ICS/NIMS/SIMS protocols. To be successful in this role, you would have: High School diploma or equivalent Four (4) years employment in the building and construction field. Previous experience in all phases of residential or commercial facility construction. Experience in a school, hospital or comparable new construction may be acceptable. Minimum of three (3) years of professional managerial experience in a related field Some vocational (VoTech) education in business and trades Plumbing, HVAC, Electrician or Carpentry is preferred Bachelors Science or Arts Degree in related field Preferred What's in it for you?
