Smith & Annala Engineering Co. (SAECO) provides geotechnical engineering, construction QA/QC, and environmental services to clients across the Southwestern U.S. The firm is locally owned and operated and is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. We have excellent opportunities for full-time and part-time employment opportunities in our West Valley office for entry-level and experienced Field and Laboratory Technicians.

Job Requirements:

Perform routine field and laboratory testing as directed. Including: Soils Testing: Perform field density testing or laboratory testing. Concrete Testing: Sample concrete at the project site and perform field testing as required during the placement of the concrete. Hot Mix Asphalt: Sample hot mix asphalt at the project site or plant. Perform field testing during the placement of the hot mix asphalt.

The employee will be frequently required to work outside on construction project sites, including off-hours (early mornings or weekends). Ability to pass a 7 year criminal background check.

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 to 3 years related work experience.

Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license with satisfactory history
