Construction Painter

We are seeking an experienced and versatile laborer to support all aspects of building and construction. This role requires hands-on experience across multiple trades to support operations and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Areas of support will include framing, plumbing, electrical, tile, paint, cutting, siding, finish and cabinet building.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform painting tasks using spray guns and paint sprayers.
  2. Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and blasting.
  3. Operate in both paint booth and powder coat environments.
  4. Measure accurately using tape measures and blueprints.
  5. Utilize hand tools effectively in various construction tasks.
  6. Collaborate with small teams in a manufacturing and construction setting.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with construction and industrial painting.
  • Proficiency in using spray guns and paint sprayers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Competence in using hand tools.
  • Skill in paint preparation and surface sanding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in framing, plumbing, electrical, tile, and cabinet building.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
  • Capability to work on feet for 10+ hours a day.

The team size ranges from 80-120 employees depending on project demands, with small teams assigned to specific build processes. Work hours are from 7 am to 5:30 pm, with a daily crew meeting at 6:55 am. The dress code requires closed-toe work shoes, shirts with sleeves, and shorts or pants with specific length requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Cleveland, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
