Construction Project Controls Analyst - Aviation

Turner & Townsend are seeking an ambitious Project Controls Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is an ambitious construction professional with experience analyzing cost and schedule in large construction projects or programs.
Responsibilities: Provide preconstruction support by providing historical cost data, performing trend analysis, and contributing to the development of annual contractor purchase orders. Manage internal project budgets to facilitate monthly financial reporting across a portfolio of projects. Develop and maintain automated Power BI dashboards to monitor cost performance, visualize KPIs, and support executive-level reporting. Coordinate monthly forecasts and cash flows; analyze variances and deliver summaries to stakeholders in compliance with internal reporting standards Work closely with site schedulers to compare financial forecasts, risks, and changes that are in alignment with schedule updates. Produce timely ad hoc cost reports, integrating multiple data sources from the agency’s internal systems. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to manage accrual reporting, charge code allocation, asset settlement, and funding reimbursement Support financial close-out by preparing and submitting settlement requests and ensuring accurate reconciliation of final cost data. Identify and implement process improvements in cost control and administrative reporting, including automation where feasible. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction. Minimum of 1+ years of applicable construction experience. Ability to clearly communicate financial status and schedule details. Experience with project management, cost control, and scheduling software required. Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills are necessary in this highly collaborative role. Strong communication skills.
